8:23am.
Have doubts about whether I should do exercises or not. The night was half-sleepless again, so I don’t feel fresh, though it’s probably not the reason to cancel at least the basic gymnastics. Okay, let’s do the basics and then get to work.
8:42am.
Done. Now, I’m gonna watch Cathrin’s videos.
What To Work On When YOUR CHANNEL ISN”T GROWING: How to set up a youtube channel for future success. 1, 655 comments. 39, 355 views. 2.5k likes. Dec 20, 2019.
Although it might sound silly, but I have to consider the possibility of including all the tips from these videos into my notes. Most of what she says is trivial stuff, and yet I must write them down to get a better understanding of how all that works. I think my almost instinctive criticism of whatever enters my mind holds me back, and my desire to appear smart on these pages is something I need to get rid of. It’s like, I’m viewing myself as a super-intelligent-wise man, and all the little things, which I usually make fun of, must now be taken seriously. I have to turn myself into a “tabula rasa” and do whatever it takes to be reprogrammed. So, for instance, the banalities like “figuring out your style” or “making your brand” or “choosing appropriate colors,” etc. are very important, and if I already know that, repetition is not gonna be useless.
I had one interesting thought while watching this video, which is recovering my VZ page on prozaru. It doesn’t take a lot of time to edit my English notes. If it may bring potential subs, why not do that?
10:45am.
It took plenty of time to recover VZ’s account, but it was worth it. My language has changed dramatically since that time, though it shouldn’t be surprising, since a year and a half is a huge amount of time, especially if one’s labor is fully centered on a specific area. Now, let’s watch another video.
A REAL DAY IN MY LIFE: Joining a mastermind, unboxing Alisha Marie merch, & creating YouTube videos. 365 comments. 8, 590 views. 509 likes. Dec 23, 2019.
Not too many people are interested in her personal life, contrary to other videos she makes about growing her youtube channel. Apart from what she says about youtube, nothing resonates with me. Her daily life seems totally meaningless. Now, I know what I’m gonna incorporate into my “brand.” She talks a lot about being different from other people in one’s niche; and I guess my profound experience in philosophy and psychology is gonna make that difference. However, I should pay attention to how often I say here and there about this probloodyfound experience. Most of the time it sounds as if I were trying to show off, actually making me appear stupid and arrogant. Although I know from my personal experience what it takes to get through the collected volumes of greatest thinkers, I won’t do any favor to those thinkers by evoking contempt in folks who listen to me or read what I write, boasting and making fool of myself.

Well, I’m tired of this girl. She’s a good seller, but there is too many good sellers. She sells her life, literally, sells it. It’s like, “I live online and teach you to do the same.” It’s not too hard if one is ready to replace one’s digital identity with one’s physical one. Does it really make sense, physical identity?

Numbers, numbers, numbers. The more I watch, the more I judge. Maybe it has something to do with the lack of attention. Why the hell does this girl receive so much attention and I’m ignored? Isn’t it because she always talks about numbers, asking for more, while I’m just laughing at them?

Now, I’m gonna continue writing the script for my second video.
“For the last decade, I’ve learned how to live on 100$ per month, which has made me almost independent from the necessity to have a job. Sure, I don’t have a car. I can’t afford to eat at restaurants. I live with my mother. But I have 100 hours of free time each week, and with access to libraries and the internet, it’s like having a tank when the most advanced weapon is a spare. So I’ve been putting off the time when I have to do anything related to money for as long as I could. My formula was “zero is the best,” and I certainly didn’t want to be dependent on my subscribers and anyone to dictate to me what I could and should talk about and how I must appear in front of the camera. I’m aware that authenticity isn’t something valuable when it comes down to attracting people on any sort of social, digital platform, even though many people say that the more natural you look, the more they like you.
Besides, I had my speaking club, which grew from 0 to 20 participants regularly attending weekly meetings in 2019. But since this bloody virus shut all doors making everybody locked down at home, I was forced to reconsider everything I was doing. There were also other reasons why I decided to study marketing and grow my youtube channel, which I’ll talk about in the next videos. For now, I wanna just say, I see it like a game. A new game I decided to play to observe where it’s gonna lead me. I’ve been talking a lot for the past three years that thinking in English is not just the best way to learn this language, but also it’s the key to solving many problems we have in our daily lives. Of course, it’s not gonna be the case for a native speaker, because the point is to be able to use a foreign language for thinking. So I’m gonna apply my thinking to solve the puzzle of how to get 1000 subs and 4000 watch hours required to get monetized on youtube.
In the following videos, I’m gonna share my strategies and various tips and tricks which I’m about to learn. I’m gonna make videos at least once a week, dedicating at least five hours a day to studies.
If you wanna help me and see more videos like this, click the like button, subscribe and do all these youtube things. I’d also like to know what you think about how long it takes to get 1000 subs and what kind of content you wanna see on my channel, so feel free to write comments, hope to see you next time.
8:00pm.
It took about four hours to write the entire script and record it on camera. I haven’t finished yet. There is one more paragraph to memorize and deliver. I definitely don’t wanna apply this method for the next video. I think it turns out completely unnatural and it’s also time-consuming and even annoying. Now, I’m gonna watch Cathrin’s videos again since I wanna get though all of this asap.
